If you were an overseas visitor attending Jenny and Yan’s wedding you would be forgiven for thinking we were in the middle of winter instead of being only one month out from summer. The forecast all week was for a cold and wet day. However typical of Melbourne, if you don’t like the weather wait 10 minutes, and just in time for the ceremony, the heavy rains dissipated and the sun decided to join the festivities.
Yan looking handsome and dapper was surrounded by his closest friends. The boys were traditionally humiliated with the Asian door games. A mountain of wasabi on a small piece of seaweed was one of the many punishments they had to endure.
The traditional family Tea Ceremonies were the precursor to the Civil Ceremony. A beautiful service conducted by Steve Mason at Kamesburgh Gardens. Filming alongside Hien from Lumens Photography we enjoyed the luxury of time and some iconic Melbourne locations, before heading to The Brighton International for the amazing Asian Banquet and dancing.
We loved being a part of Jenny and Yan’s wedding and enjoyed their laid back demeanour. Nothing was an issue and even the request of strolling along the cold waters edge was not a problem for them. Champions to say the least!
We hope you enjoy reliving Jenny & Yan’s day as much as we enjoyed putting their wedding film together. Don’t forget to leave this gorgeous couple a message below and hit the like boxes if you love their clip.
