Passion, love, intensity are just three words to describe Mark & Therese who celebrated their marriage at Sketch Docklands, with an Egyptian flavoured gathering. The passion they have for each other is infectious and evident from the moment you meet them. These guys have already lasted the test of time and their marriage only seals this union. They share a deep love, as deep as I have witnessed.
We were blessed to have filmed Therese’s elder sisters wedding only 14 months earlier, as well as close friend and bridesmaid. As two very special gifts were swapped it was evident immediately that this day was going to be an emotional roller coaster for all of us. As Mark unwrapped a scrap book of travels during the previous 365 days and Therese opened a box containing a magnificent black diamond ring everyone, was speechless. However it was the heartfelt words that came with these gifts that truly demonstrated the love these two have for each other.
Our Lady of Lebanon was the setting for their union. With a Harley led procession, Mark arrived and was greeted by family and friends. Therese, gowned in a Sonia Cappellazzo creation, was an absolute vision. Emotions flowed during the service as Therese and Mark officially became one. Filming alongside Mauro from Dezign by Mauro, we travelled across Melbourne before heading to their reception at Sketch Docklands. This party was about to start! The traditional Arabic entrance with drums, belly dancers, singing and dancing welcomed the couple into the reception. The dance floor was packed with everyone off their seats as they helped get the party started. I have to say we are blessed to hear all the incredible stories that come out during speeches and this wedding was no different. Everyone who spoke, spoke from the heart and delivered with such passion.
