“Once in a while, right in the middle of an ordinary life. love gives us a fairytale….”

That’s just how this fairytale started, in the middle of an ordinary day, in a football corporate box, Kate stepped out from behind her Dad to greet Mitchell.  An easy conversation followed, and continued during the day.  After this brief meeting, with a more modern take on romance, Mitchell then set to Facebook to track down, the amazing girl he had met.  From such a simple start a true romance blossomed, and Mitchell has framed his ticket from that football match as a constant reminder of how fate can step in and change your life forever.

Both Kate and Mitchell have been blessed to come from close and loving families that have blended together long before their wedding day.  You got a real sense from their day, just how cherished they are by all their friends and family.  As Mitchell waited nervously at the end of the aisle, I don’t think I have seen a prouder Dad walking side by side with his daughter. A full choir filled St Patricks Cathedral with joy and happiness and Kate and Mitchell finally became man and wife. This was another beautiful St Patricks Cathedral wedding!

Hugs, kisses and congratulations were exchanged outside the church and wedding guests were treated to a delightful surprise of post wedding ice-creams. We had a ball working alongside Kelly from Studio Max, enjoying the beautiful Melbourne sunshine, before heading back to the Australia Club, to enjoy the festivities of the evening.  The floristry of Victoria Whitelaw, amazed guests, along with the chocolate fountain and edible garden.  Special guest MC, Lavinia Nixon had been arranged as a surprise for Mitchell’s Dad, and the whole event was overseen by Emily from A Lavish Affair.  After some heartfelt speeches the dance floor kicked off to the beats of Bluetrain.
