We not only get to film some really amazing weddings, but we also get to film in some pretty incredible locations and beautiful couples. Richard & Theekshna’s was one of those weddings. Flying out to Sri Lanka we got a chance to film what can only be described as ONE EPIC WEDDING.

The most touching part, and one of the reasons behind the location was Theekshna & Richard’s grandmothers were able to meet for the first time and her Sri Lankan Family were able to attend the wedding. For all of Theek’s Australian family & friends it was a chance to experience a part of Theek’s culture in a truly unique way.
This wedding was a blend of two cultures and two religions with a unique ceremony combining both Buddhist and Jewish traditions. This was more than just a wedding though, with a welcome pool party for their guests and a post wedding celebration, it was a wedding event stretched over many days.
From the engagement party, pre wedding parties, and finally to the wedding day itself, we were with them every step of the way, and I have to say we couldn’t have filmed for two nicer people. We had an absolute ball and left a part of our hearts behind in Sri Lanka. Hopefully for all the family and friends who couldn’t make it over we have captured the beauty and soul of what was one truly amazing wedding.
