Sylvanna & Ibrahim – Leonda by the Yarra – Allure Productions

A gorgeous winters day and an equally gorgeous couple. Ibrahim and Sylvanna had an energy filled wedding with traditional Lebanese dancing, drums and music.

On arrival at Ibrahim’s preparations,  a relaxed mood greeted us and even the family dog was dressed for the occasion. On the other hand, Sylvanna was greeted with a full house of close family who had come to give their best wishes. As the drums started beating it was time for the festivities to begin, spilling onto the street and blocking traffic whilst everyone danced.

I mentioned earlier how splendid the day was. Sun shining and could be classified as the perfect winters day. Shooting alongside John from Warren Photography, we took full advantage of the brilliant light available. The Church, St Nicholas’s in East Melbourne was filled with light and people as they witnessed Sylvanna and Ibrahim tie the knot. The tram lines on Victoria Street and The Price of Wales Hotel was the first location shoot, and whilst the girls ate the wedges the boys were watching their beloved Collingwood team lose to the Bulldogs… Ibby wasn’t too happy 🙂

His smile returned soon after when they entered for the first time into Leonda by the Yarra for their reception dinner. Swords, dancers, drums and loud music ensured the party was well underway.

We loved being a part of Sylvanna & Ibrahims’s wedding. We hope you enjoy reliving their day as much as we enjoyed putting their short wedding film together. Don’t forget to leave this gorgeous couple a message below and hit the like boxes if you love their clip.
